  1.  A blackberry phone of any model
  2. Data Subscription package
  3. A "map" application installed in the phone. Normally, this application comes with all blackberry phone. In case you could not find it in the blackberry, you could search the "blackberry word" for that.
PROCEDURES:
  • Navigate to the "map" icon on the home page (if it has not been moved to any folder) and select. If it has been moved, locate it in - media, instant messaging, application and games folders, or any other folder created by the user. Make sure your data service is on
  • Open the map icon, you see something like this below
  • Press the blackberry icon (option key) and navigate to "get direction". You will see a windows that will display like this

There, you find:
  1. My location - Click on it and insert where you are, (where you want to take off. Your starting point).
  2. End - Click and insert where you are exactly going to (your destination)
  3. Route option - Click on this to choose to your preference.

Now, click on the search button and wait a while for the system to calculate the direction you  requested for.

NOTE: In the search result, you should notice these keywords below:

NE -- North-east
SE -- South-east
SW--South-west
NW-- North-west                                                                (all in directions).
