How To Mention Someone In A Facebook Post Or Comment Using Opera Mini

Mentioning someone in a Facebook post/comment means the person you mention his name will be notified by the facebook notification. This also calls the attention of the person you mentioned his name to view what and why you mentioned his name. The name of the person looks like a link which anyone can just click on, and it takes them to the person’s profile.

This is previously done of facebook web version only. But facebook has enabled its mobile version but it contains a small stress than that of using a Web browser to mention a name.
USING A COMPUTER:
In the comment box or the post box, just enter “@” without the quotation mark followed by the person’s name. As you’re typing the name, the suggested search results will be shown so that you can easily navigate to the person’s name. For example, @Akinbola Ilyas Haykinz. Check the screenshot below:

USING THE MOBILE PHONE:
This may seem taking a long process, but since you need it you should just try to follow these steps;
==>The person you want to mention his name, go to his profile (e.g. www.facebook.com/ilyas.akinbola).

==>Then click on his profile picture. When the page finish loading, check the address bar of your browser and look for the “profile number”, which is between “&id=” and “&set=a”. Copy/note down this number.

==>Now in the comment/post box, enter “@[the number:]” without the quotation mark. For example, check this screenshot below:
 The comment/post will now appear like this:

The person will be notified immediately the post is published.

Share it if this works for you and use the comment box for any question or comment.
