Let us forget apps like battery doctor, battery saver and the
likes. There are some certain practical measures you can take to extend
your android devices battery life. Their impact on battery life may
seem minimal, but when combined, they can become insignificant. We
always overlook most of these measures.
But I promise you that, when you take all these things into consideration, your android battery life is surely going to be extended.
#2. Always swipe away unused apps running in the background
But I promise you that, when you take all these things into consideration, your android battery life is surely going to be extended.
Here is How
#1. Always dim your brightness and use a dark launcher/theme if available
We
don't always need a sharp brightness that even can cause injury to our
eyes. In this way, we of two ways cause harm to ourselves. One is the
damage we cause to our battery because the phone will need more power to
lit up the sharp brightness.
The
second way we cause harm to ourselves is that, research let us
understand that some rays of light are emitted from screens of visual
electronics like phones and televisions. These rays are, one way or the
other harmful to our eyes. So why sharp brightness?
Always use a dark theme or launcher if you have it. Bright themes also consumes battery.
#2. Always swipe away unused apps running in the background
Though
Android Devices provide the ability to run more than one app at the
same time, but this feature is NOT for us to misuse it. Every apps you
run without swiping away ( or exit) use a share of your phone's
processor and battery life. Thereby, burning your battery life time.
To
get rid of this, always swipe away apps running in the background
anytime you're done with them. For some phones, simply press down the
home key button and swipe away. For other android devices, press the multi-tasking button at the left of the three icons at the bottom of the screen to swipe away.
#3. Always allow your device to cool whenever it is cool
Before
I personally discover that phone batteries quickly drains up whenever
it is hot, I fell into this trap most of the time. Most of us like to
continue using the phone even if it becomes hot because we are fully
engrossed with what we are doing on the phone. This is a bad idea as it
sucks the battery quickly.
Whenever
you discover that your device is hot and you feel like continuing what
you are doing, simply remove the back cover so that the battery can be
exposed to fresh air. That is one of the reasons why I don't like to use
removable casings for my devices whenever I want to operate them.
#4. Always clear your RAM if available
When
the usage of your RAM goes up, your battery drains faster. Some android
devices leaves the option to clear your RAM anytime you want, while
some don't. If your phone has the feature, always clear this RAM to
preserve your batter life.
#5. Always turn off unnecessary widgets when not in use
Bluethooth,
wi-fi, GPS, hotspot, data connection and the likes are big battery
sucker you must avoid. No matter how much you love to connect your phone
with wireless Bluetooth devices like headset, you should always turn it
off when not in use.
It is very advisable to turn this widgets on only when you need them.
#6. Never allow your phone to vibrate unnecessarily
When
you're always sure that the volume of your ringtone is enough to alert
you when you get a call or notification, it is advisable to turn your
vibrate feature off.
This
is because vibration motor rotates a certain weight that is enough to
make your whole phone shake. And this process makes it to consume more
power.
#7. Never let your LED blink unnecessarily
Whether
for fancy or something I cannot really explain, some people like to
leave their phone LED to blink all day. It drains your battery. Consider
turning the LED off in your settings.
There
are still more practical ways to extend your android devices battery
life, but I think these are the things that mostly occur. Do not
hesitate to share some other ways in the comment section.
